Shop Sunday

Newport City Centre is open 7 days a week including Sunday which offers a relaxed shopping experience for all.

All of the major stores along Commercial Street including family favourites including WhSmith, Clarks, Primark and Bhs are open between 10.30 and 11am until 4 or 4.30pm.

Clothes shops including River Island, Dorothy Perkins, H&M all promise prime browsing and shopping opportunities with less hassle. For music, magazines and the latest entertainment, HMV and GAME are also open on Sunday afternoons.

And if you fancy a cuppa and cake or full blown dinner then put your feet up and enjoy what the city centre has to offer. From the laid back hang outs of Starbucks, KFC and McDonalds, to a more diverse menu coupled with entertainment, visit City Cinema or one of the many eateries at the top of High Street.

Getting into the centre isn’t an issue either. With a wide range of bus routes and free parking in a range of council outdoor car parks you can spend a leisurely afternoon or pop in and out for the essentials at your own convenience.
