Christmas Switch On, High Street, Sunday 18th November In partnership with the South Wales Argus
A hearty thank you to everyone who came and supported the switch on on Sunday. The event was touch and go in the afternoon but we managed to pull it off but it would never have been the same if it hadn''t of been for the fabulous support of the performers and everyone from Newport who turned up to support. Thank you
Joining the Mayor of Newport will be Matt Lissack and Clare Lloyd from Red Dragon Radio and our Search for A Star winners who’ll be switching on the lights of Newport! Fireworks and the John Oliver’s Live Band follow the switch on. The band have regularly performed with, for and in the presence of stars, celebrities and the famous such as The Prince''s William and Harry, David Essex, Nicole Kidman, Bryn Terfel, Katherine Jenkins and are renowned for their live performances of music by everything from the Beatles, Robbie Williams, Queen to Abba……it’ll keep you bopping way after the lights have come on!
